1) The Music: DJ David mixes and transitions EXPERTLY. We needed a DJ who had experience with K-Pop and Soca/Dancehall (we’re Korean and Guyanese) and would blend these genres well with our other musical preferences (Pop, Rock, R&B, Hip-hop, Afrobeats, Reggaeton).

He made sure that songs were well-timed for key moments of the night, and the volume was always just right. The dance floor was never empty. We’ve gotten NUMEROUS comments since the wedding from our family and friends (at all ages) about how good the music and DJ were throughout the evening.

2) Organization and Communication: In the weeks and months before the wedding DJ David kept us organized with his music planning Google doc. We had fun planning calls to review the wedding timeline and setup, and he was in contact with our wedding venue for technical details. He kept us in the loop, and we were able to easily clarify the few mix-ups that we had through email.

3) Thoughtfulness: DJ David was about to play one of my wife’s “must play” songs (“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters) but noticed that she wasn’t on the dance floor. He went out of his way to flag down the maid-of-honor to find her before playing it. DJ David’s gesture provided one of my wife’s favorite and most memorable moments of the night and we will both always associate this song with his professionalism and friendliness.
